If you feel dizzy, off balance, or have fallen, Dr. Zainab Kothari PT, DPT, MS can help to determine how well you are using your visual, somatosensory, and vestibular systems (or not) to keep your balance. She will instruct you in specific exercises that address the problem and improve how your body uses all these systems together.

"Pt’s with peripheral vestibular disorders including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, unilateral vestibular hypofunction, bilateral vestibular hypofunction as a result of vestibular neuritis, vestibular artery infarct, labrynthitis can be treated by vestibular physical therapy.
Vestibular PT encompasses oculomotor training, performing canalith repositioning maneuvers as indicated and balance training secondary to vestibular deficits. Vestibular PT can also benefit patients that have vestibular impairments post concussion to aid in recovery and prevent long term vestibular and oculomotor impairments. "
